First honey crop

I collected my first honey crop yesterday 7/4/2023. I got about 30 lbs of honey from 10 fully capped frames. Very happy to be able to have pulled honey from my hive already.

I saved the wax which I strained the honey from, can I give it back to the bees for them to reuse somehow? It is currently in a big ball.

I also did a sugar roll mite test and believe I saw one (1) red mite crawling around. Is this acceptable? I think I recall anything under 10 to be ok and no need to treat ?…

Congrats.   I can still remember my first honey harvest.   As far as mite count 1 mite per 300 is great. NO worries yet but plan on checking again next month- the mites multiply fast.
