Can you help me determine IF I need a new Queen?… This is my first beekeeping season. My hive is weak,NOT thriving or growing much. I think my Queen is poor quality?? Her laying pattern is erratic and I only ever seem to have 3-5 (not full) frames of brood in the entire colony (3 med boxes)! I now have 2 Queen cells (still open) Does that mean the hive doesn’t like the queen?? Need a new one?
